Throw back to the Old times and Celebrating our greatest hits of the year at Silaat Store-2022

This new year, lets throw some light to the old times by sharing the story which is close to our hearts. In the crucial hours of Covid-19, our founders at Silaat Store believed in the venture of our young entrepreneurs. The Idea of opening up a makeup line specifically targeting to be among the only few local Pakistani brands to come up with cream based tint. With producing a unique product, there are many unique challenges. Water based tints were popular at that time. Foreseeing the demand of cream based tints and the lack of Pakistani manufacturers in that category, our founders saw an opportunity to provide their service.

The Makeup studio/lab was set in a small store room at our old warehouse. Starting with small quantities that our chemist used for experimenting. It took a lot of trail and error, market research, and the help from our friends who are Certified cosmetic manufacturers in El Salvador. Soon, we came up with the recipe for a safe, long wear cream base tints.

The first sample was produced from the basic ingredients and oils as depicted in the picture above. We shared our samples with friends and family members of Silaat Store. With their heart warming feedback and testing them for more than a year, our Tints were finally ready to be manufactured on commercial level. All the supplies that came in grams, were now imported in canisters. The production, packaging, product photography and advertising was completed by November 2020 and it was to be launched in the store in the coming days. The major issue at that time was to keep the product at competitive rates. By introducing environmental friendly packaging to reduce the plastic waste, our products were online in the store with no profit, but only the best quality. With hard work, dedication and belief in our work, Creamy lip tints has been sold in more than 100 cities of Pakistan, proving it one of the greatest sells and pioneer product of Silaat Store. As its popularity increased, tints has set its foot as a major niche of Silaat Store. Among the many other best selling products of the store, tints are high in demand.

This new year, we mark our one year anniversary of celebrating the joy the tints bought into the store and 1k strong happy buyers of the store. We go back to our roots of how it all started from a single testing lab, that has now grown its capacity to serve all over Pakistan. On our daraz store, the product also received many great reviews and appreciation from our valuable customers. We thank Almighty Allah for his blessings, our founders of Silaat Store, our fellow co-workers and customers who make it all possible. Lets hope to make the next year 2022 a great one like this and expand our horizons further in the makeup line of Silaat Store.
